Local Incentives

Local incentives in Guilford County and the Cities of Greensboro and High Point are tied to specific project criteria, including:

  • Job creation
  • New capital investment, excluding existing buildings and land
  • Targeted geography, where incentive zones may offer different opportunities
  • Active competition with other locations

Local partners may also assist with infrastructure support, site preparation and connections to workforce programs.

Job Development Investment Grant (JDIG)

Greensboro-High Point offers state and local incentives that reward job creation, capital investment and long-term commitment to the region. Incentives are performance based and require approval from state or local governments.

One North Carolina Fund (OneNC)

A discretionary grant program that supports high impact investment. Awards may be based on location, number of jobs created, capital investment, overall economic impact and project competition.
